These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of filmingmap.com (the “Site”), operated by Arturas Salivonas, a sole trader trading as FilmingMap (“we“, “us“, “our“). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. About FilmingMap
FilmingMap is an informational and entertainment website that catalogues film and television filming locations and displays them on an interactive map and globe, together with related editorial guides and metadata. It is provided for general interest only.
2. Use of the Site
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Site for your own personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms. You must not use the Site in any way that is unlawful, harmful, or that could damage, disable or impair the Site.
3. Accuracy of filming locations – important
Filming location information on the Site is compiled from publicly available sources and may be incomplete, approximate, out of date, or incorrect. Locations are provided for general interest only. In particular:
- Many filming locations are private property, working businesses, film studios, or otherwise not open to the public. Inclusion on the Site is not an invitation or permission to enter, visit, or photograph any location.
- You are solely responsible for your own conduct and safety. If you choose to visit any location, you must respect private property, obey all laws, signage and local rules, and take responsibility for your own safety.
- We do not verify the current status, accessibility, ownership or safety of any location, and we accept no responsibility for your reliance on any location information.
Do not trespass. Do not rely on the Site for navigation, safety, legal, or travel decisions.
4. Intellectual property
The Site’s original content, design, editorial guides, layout and software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Film titles, images, posters, cast information, map data and location photographs are provided by third parties under their own licences – see our Attribution & Credits page. All trademarks, film titles and related marks are the property of their respective owners; their use on the Site is for identification and informational purposes and does not imply any affiliation or endorsement.
You may not copy, scrape, harvest, republish, sell or systematically extract content or data from the Site without our prior written permission.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access or copy the Site except as permitted by our robots file and applicable law;
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its servers or systems;
- Introduce malware or interfere with the Site’s operation; or
- Use the Site for any unlawful, infringing or fraudulent purpose.
6. Third-party links and services
The Site may contain links to third-party websites and services (for example, trailers, “where to watch” links, or map providers). We do not control and are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of those third parties.
7. Advertising and affiliate links
The Site may in future display advertising and may include affiliate links, meaning we could earn a commission if you click a link and make a purchase, at no additional cost to you. Any such advertising or affiliate relationships do not affect the information we present. Where required, we will disclose them.
8. Disclaimers
The Site and all content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including as to accuracy, completeness, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the Site or your reliance on any content, including any filming location information.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the laws of England and Wales.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, liabilities and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or breach of these Terms.
11. Availability and changes
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Site at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time; the “last updated” date shows when. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Site, subject to any mandatory consumer protections available to you in your country of residence.
